The scene opens up in a fairly silent gym, where we can hear grunts and moans from across. Only one man is present in this work-out area, as we get near this individual's bench pressing equipment. With the coveted World Heavyweight Championship laying next to him, it's now apparent that the athelete is Alonzo Parker, whom we haven't heard from in a while. He's sporting a gray tank top, black sweats and a scruffy beard; basically what you'd see anyone wear in a gym. As he completes more and more reps, the higher the pressure increases on his already sore body. But it doesn't matter to him, no no, he's not willingly going to relinquish his second CWF Heavyweight title just yet. Alonzo has recently been criticized for getting more and more arrogant and increasingly lazier as time goes by, notably by the owner himself Pyscho Luke. He has reportedly not been the same hungry young talent he was when he first joined this company, and these comments are really getting to him. The negative comments are echoing in his ears, from his last encounter with Luke Schlosser.

We bring you back to late December, where unaired footage will now be made public. The camera roams through the corridors of CWF, where the atmosphere remains the same. The wrestlers are doing their usual pre-match warm ups, the backstage crew and chatting close to the water cooler. They cut to a door with 'Psycho Luke' labeled on the nameplate. Inside the room, where it appears to have an office-type setting, Luke is sitting on a chair with his feet on his desk. He's reading through some paper-work before being interrupted shortly after. He nods his lead to let the individual inside. An irate Alonzo Parker opens the door and takes off his business jacket. He rolls up his sleeves as he glares at the owner.
Alonzo Parker: Luke, we need to talk.
Luke puts down the documents and cracks his knuckles.
Psycho Luke: What's up, Alonzo?
Alonzo Parker: You want to know what's up? I'm the best damn thing that's ever graced the CWF Title and I don't even get a say on how my championship defenses go down? What the hell is that bullshit?
Psycho Luke: You're talking about the Gauntlet match? Wow... dude just suck it up and put up a fight out there. This place needs to crown worthy champions and this stipulation will do the trick.
Alonzo Parker: Oh I hear you loud and clear, but why do you have to do it at my expense? Everybody knows I'm the best champion in history. I mean come on, I'm more than just worthy. I proved myself time and time again, as a matter of fact you should be thankful you have a guy like me holding the belt! I'm one of a kind, and heck I'm the only one of my kind!
Psycho Luke: Yeah, you're right about that. You're pretty unique, hardly ever showing your face... showing up half an hour before the big show. I've seen a lot of cocky guys in this business, trust me. Most of them go out to the ring and brag about how good they are, but you, you take the cake by far. You don't even bother. You'll promote energy drinks, attend hollywood premieres, yet never seem to find the time to go do your profession. You're a sell out.
Alonzo Parker: I'm a sell out? Oh that's really good, man. That simply isn't true. The only thing I'm selling out is every damn seat in the arenas!
Psycho Luke: Look, all I'm saying is that you need to redeem yourself. If you truly deserve the world championship, you'll have no problem showing up to defend.
Alonzo Parker: Defending the strap isn't the issue. The stipulation is. A superstar of my caliber shouldn't have to go through all these matches in a single night. I can handle a one-on-one, maybe a triple threat but this just isn't fair. I oughta get more respect around here. After all, I am the champ, and the champ calls the shots around here.
Psycho Luke: Actually no, that's simply not the case. See, I run this place, I organize all the events and book the title matches. I'm your superior, so I can scout your opponent and hell, I can strip the belt off of you at any time I please. I don't see what's so hard to understand that you can't always get what you want. I know you're some spoiled rich kid but at least act like your in this for the interest of professional wrestling.
Alonzo Parker: Spoiled rich kid?
Psycho Luke: Let's be honest, you're all bling-bling, Parker. We all know you're in this industry for the money, so to repeat what I've been trying to get through your thick skull, if you're a truly worthy athlete then you'll have no problem taking on multiple opponents one after the other. Heck you should be motivated being booked in all these matches.
'The Spotlight' just stares at him and lets him continue.
Psycho Luke: Answer me this. Would you honestly show up every night if you didn't receive a paycheck? I don't think so. So you know what, take your stinkin' check and don't bother showing up.
Luke hands him a cheque for an unknown amount. Alonzo takes a good look at it before ripping it up to shreds. He shakes his head smirking.
Alonzo Parker: I see what you're trying to do, and it's not going to work. I don't need this. I don't need all that cash and jewelry. Hell I could give two shits about all the 'hollywood' premieres. For the longest time, my motto has been "It's not arrogance if you can back it up", and unsurprisingly for the longest time my message hasn't gotten across your thick skulls. My talent alone doesn't give me respect because I apparently have a bad attitude. So you know what, we're going to do things a little different this time. From this point onto Malice Effect, the trash talking ends here. The glitz and glamour, the jewelry, all ends here. Because to be frank, my most prized posession... is the World Heavyweight Championship... and I'll be damned if anyone takes that away from me.
Alonzo unstraps the belt from his waist and kisses it.
Alonzo Parker: And once I win... EVERYONE will be forced to respect 'The Spotlight' himself, Alonzo Parker. No excuses.
Luke smirks at this.
Psycho Luke: That's all nice and dandy. But I won't believe it until I see it...
Alonzo backs up of his office.
Alonzo Parker: Oh trust me, everybody will be witnessing something epic at Malice... trust me..
Present
The flashback ends and we once again see Alonzo in his training area, this time doing push-ups. This sums up the reason as to why we haven't heard much from the champion himself. The other competitors might have had a blast talking trash to each other, but when it comes right down to it-- actions speak louder than words. And Parker is taking a slightly different route this time around... the one that in the end demands respect and ultimately keeps the world championship securely wrapped around his waist.
